Returns for Refund or Exchange

Returns and exchanges

All full price items can be returned for an exchange, store credit or refund within 14 days of receiving your parcel. This is extended out to 21 days for International parcels. There are no refunds on Sale items. Store Credit will be provided for Sale items.  Store credit can be used to purchase another size or item. Store Credit is issued as a gift card.

We will happily exchange, credit or refund your items providing the items meet our Terms and Conditions detailed below.

All returns are managed via our Returns Portal

Refunds will be credited to the original form of payment.

Store Credit will be issued as a non-expiry Gift Card.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

What can I return?

  • Any items purchased within 14 days of purchase as long as the items meet our  return/exchange policies (Swing tags attached, receipt and items have not been worn and are still in a resalable condition). There are no refunds on sale items. ​
  • We accept all unworn, unwashed re-sellable items with original tags still attached.
  • We offer credit or exchange for Sale items returned within 14 days of purchase.
  • No further markdowns can be applied to items purchased at a discount or during sale periods.

The following CANNOT be refunded:

  • Sale items.
  • Briefs, bodysuits, hosiery and G-strings that have been tried on in direct skin contact.
  • Incomplete, damaged, worn, altered and washed items.
  • Marked items including make up, tanning products.

How to return an item

  • Should you want to return an item to us, please ensure it meets the above conditions and is returned within the following returns window: 14 days for Australia, 21 days for International. If you fall outside of this window - please email us sales@theblackmarket.net.au
  • Head to our Returns Portal 
  • Complete the required returns information. You will need your order number (BFS####) and email address.
  • Once you receive approval for your return, please securely wrap your item and send to our postal address below. Postage is at customers expense.

The Black Market Online reserves the right to deny a refund or exchange if items are returned used, soiled, worn or damaged in any way and they will be returned to sender.

You will be notified via email if your returned item is not suitable for a refund.

The cost of return shipping is at the customer’s expense and is non-refundable.  We recommend returning items through traceable mail, as any returned items that are not received by The Black Market Online will not be issued a refund. We also recommend that customers ask for proof of postage at the time of posting returned items.

Please allow 5 business days for a refund to be processed from the date that the returned item is received by The Black Market Online. You will be informed via the email address that is listed on your Black Market Online account once this transaction has been processed. 

Have you received my return?

If you have sent your parcel back and have not yet received a credit or email confirmation please follow these steps

  1. Enter your tracking number on the Australia Post website.
    https://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/track.html#/track

If Australia Post tracking says that it has arrived safely, please allow up to 5 business days for your credit to be processed. Your credit will be emailed over to the nominated email address at the time you placed the order.

  1. Check your junk/spam folder for the email
  2. If you still cant find it and its been more than 5 business days since your parcel arrived, please email us at sales@theblackmarket.net.au and a customer service representative will be in contact.
