Q: Where is The Blackmarket Studio?
A: The Blackmarket Studio is located at a private residence in Dicky Beach, on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. The exact address will be provided when your booking is confirmed.
Q: Is there a private trying area?
A: Yes, the Studio is a purpose built addition, adjacent to the main house, casual but private. There is a large mirror, privacy screen. Toilet facilities are available - however, they are in the main house.
Q: How can I pay for my purchases?
A: There are full Eftpos facilities available - most major credit cards and debit cards are accepted. We can accept cash. If you would like to use Afterpay, Klarno, ZipPay or PayPal this can be arranged in store.
Q: What do I need to do or bring for my appointment?
A: As per hygiene laws it is essential that you wear briefs underneath our items when trying. We ask that you limit your makeup, any lotions and do not use tanning products 24 hours before coming to avoid marking any of the items. You are welcome to bring any outfits, shoes or accessories for styling.
Q: Who will assist me during my appointment?
A: Tamara, The Blackmarket Lingerie owner and mastermind will be there to assist you with styles, correct sizing and fitting and recommendations.
Q: How long are the appointments?
A: Each appointment is 45 minutes, which should allow ample time for you to try a number of sets. If there are additional guests that are also trying - please let me know and we can extend the appointment time.
Q: What styles will there be available?
A: We keep all of our stock on site at the Studio, so anything that you see on the website will be available for your appointment. Please be aware though - it is a dynamic environment and we have limited numbers in each size - these may be sold through the website before your appointment. Stockings are not available for trying.
Q: May I bring a friend/boyfriend/partner/child to my fitting?
A: Yes! We are more than happy for you to bring someone with you. We do ask that the group is limited to three maximum - it's a small space. Please do not bring any pets with you however, as we have two dogs of our own. (They do not have access to the Studio).
Q: Is there parking available?
A: Yes there is free parking available on the street.
Q: Is the premises accessible?
A: Yes, there is access to the warehouse for all abilities, however the toilet facilities are located up some stairs - so they will not be able to be accessed.
Q: Anything else I need to know?
A: No smoking or vaping on the premises please, or just before entering. There are several asthmatics at the property. Thank you for your understanding.
